Knee Rehabilitation
We help patients to avoid the need for knee surgery as they strengthen the most important muscles and eliminate imbalances. ACL tears, knee ligament injuries, meniscus tears, and other conditions can cause limiting knee pain and decreased function. Knee rehabilitation exercises, modalities, and physical rehab are the keys to recovery.
Shoulder Physical Therapy
Our shoulder Physical Therapy program is highly effective and gets the best results possible. Shoulder pain and frozen shoulder can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as shoulder tendonitis, shoulder impingement, and rotator cuff pain. Shoulder Physical Therapy including shoulder manipulation techniques and rotator cuff exercises helps our patients to get back full range of motion and functional strength.
Tennis Elbow Therapy
Our tennis elbow rehab helps to eliminate elbow tendonitis completely. Tennis elbow symptoms, such as sore elbow and elbow joint pain, may require a tennis elbow brace in the acute phase. These issues often subside promptly with our tennis elbow treatment, which is primarily based on inflammation control, progressive stretching, and eccentric strengthening exercises.
Carpal Tunnel Treatment
Most patients experience immediate relief after starting our carpal tunnel treatment program with our Occupational Therapists. Many office workers and people suffer from carpal tunnel symptoms to some degree. In severe cases, patients may require a carpal tunnel brace to help to decrease their symptoms.
Lymphedema Treatment
Lymphedema Therapy can effectively reduce lymphedema and chronic swelling in the extremities. Our lymphedema management program relies on compression wrapping, compression pumps, therapeutic massage, and lymphedema exercises. The results are excellent, and our patients are quickly back on their feet again.
Stroke Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation therapy is the key for stroke recovery. An early start in our stroke Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy programs will help to enhance the neural pathways necessary for functional progress. Our Home Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy services give our patients immediate access to this vital stroke rehab.
Herniated Disc Treatment
Our herniated disc treatment typically provides pain relief of neck, back, hip, and shoulder pain. Herniated disc treatment often includes traction, manipulations, and therapeutic massage. We teach our patients special herniated disc exercises that help them to stabilize their spine and reduce pain as they improve.
Headache Treatment
After a patient’s neck is treated, their headaches usually are eliminated or decreased significantly. Severe and chronic headaches are commonly caused by cervical spine conditions, so treatment for headaches often starts with a neck Physical Therapy program. Spinal manipulation and therapeutic massage help to relieve joint pressure and relax muscles spasms.
TMJ Treatment
Our TMJ treatment program helps to eliminate acute pain and symptoms, while also producing long term results. Our TMJ protocol includes TMJ exercises, jaw manipulations, modalities, and pain relief therapy. TMJ pain and other jaw pain symptoms often cause patients to seek out help at a dentist office, with very little relief.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Our vestibular rehab program is widely considered the most comprehensive in South Florida.Vertigo, dizziness, BPPV , and other neurological disorders can affect a patient’s balance and cause dizziness. Our vestibular rehabilitation program, consisting of maneuvers, eye exercises, and functional balance training, can be delivered at the home or in our office.
