Walk to End Lupus Now with our Physical Therapists

The Physical Therapists at CardioFlex Therapy are proud to support the Lupus Foundation of America in South Florida

The Physical Therapists at CardioFlex Therapy are proud to support the Lupus Foundation of America in South Florida! Marlins Park will be hosting a Walk to End Lupus Now on Saturday, August 29th from 3-8 PM. There are no fees to participate but every dollar you donate or raise will go towards the search to find a cure for the disease. In addition to the Walk, there will also be a Wellness Expo, an After Party, and Recognition Awards for top fundraisers.

At CardioFlex Therapy outpatient clinic in Davie, we see the symptoms of Lupus first hand, physical therapists can play an important role for patients with SLE during and between exacerbations. The patient’s need for physical therapy will vary greatly depending on the systems involved. We can educate patients on appropriate energy conservation techniques and the best ways to protect joints that are susceptible to damage.
