Many of the patients that we treat with Vertigo Therapy have peripheral vertigo disorders in which the dizziness is actually caused by inner ear dysfunction. In other cases, the off-balance vertigo symptoms are caused by general vestibular weakness or chronic inner ear conditions such as Meniere’s Disease, which is managed with Therapy. If the vertigo isn’t caused by a peripheral problem, then it’s possible that the dizziness is caused by a central disorder, which is also treated with Vertigo Therapy.
Central vertigo issues originate in either the spinal cord or brain, and include conditions like brain cysts, Multiple Sclerosis, white matter lesions, etc. Although central vertigo problems are much more difficult to treat, CardioFlex Therapy treats central vertigo disorders as well as peripheral vertigo disorders with our Vertigo rehabilitation.
We perform Vestibular Rehabilitation to help prevent falls and enhance functional movements, so the patient can regain their previous level of balance, or improve to a new level.
We perform Outpatient Vertigo Physical Therapy in our brand new Outpatient facility in Davie, FL. We travel to patient’s homes located in Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach Counties to perform Therapy when it’s not convenient for them to travel to us.
We understand that if we did not offer this service, many of these patients would not receive the care that they need. We always stay with our patients for a full hour treatment session when we are performing Home Physical & Vertigo Therapy for Vertigo & Balance Disorders.
