They are the world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities and CardioFlex Therapy is there for them. Come join CardioFlex Therapy on May 2, 2015 from 11 AM – 6 PM at Vista View Park, as we go out to support Slide the City. Slide the City is a fundraising event teaming up with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Florida.
The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness. FUNfitness is the comprehensive physical therapy component of the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes initiative. FUNfitness is designed to assess and improve flexibility, functional strength and balance.
What to expect on this big day, embrace your inner child and get ready for the slide of your life! Slide the City is bringing the biggest water party of the summer to your city. Grab your swimsuit and speed down this one of a kind 1000ft slip and slide. There will be music, dancing, food, drinks, and even some swag for sale so you can soak up the sun in style.
