Special Olympics Swim Meet

CardioFlex Therapy supports Special OlympicsCardioFlex Therapy is proud to support the 2017 Broward County Swim Meet hosted by Special Olympics at Nova Southeastern on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  The donation and proceeds from this fundraiser benefit Special Olympics Florida. The event begins at 7:00 am and volunteers are needed to help escort athletes, time events, prepare and give out awards.

Special Olympics transforms lives through the joy of sport, every day, everywhere. It is the world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities with 4.4 million athletes in 170 countries.  In Florida, they serve over 31,000 athletes with the help of 21,000 dedicated coaches and volunteers.  Proceeds from events like this are crucial to helping them in their mission to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
