Join CardioFlex at the Knock out Cancer with Neon Nights to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and treatment. With cancer being one of the leading causes of death in the U.S., the physical therapists at CardioFlex Therapy in Davie want to participate and encourage others as well.
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the U.S. and while there are successful treatments and procedures to treat cancer; there is no permanent and complete cure for all types of cancer. Out of the numerous groups and organizations raising awareness and money for research, the American Cancer Society has been one of the leading non-profit organizations supporting research for cures and treatments for this disease. Through its own research, the American Cancer Society estimates cancer will be responsible for over half a million Americans deaths this year alone with another 1.5 million new cases diagnosed. To raise money and awareness to combat this, the American Cancer Society has various fundraisers nationwide such as the Relay for Life events to provide a way for everyone to participate in their work.
One of the events being held to help raise funds and awareness for cancer research and treatment is the Knock out Cancer with Neon Nights. This event will kick-off event the Relay for Life fundraising season and it’s being held on Thursday the 18th at 6:00 PM at the David Posnack JCC which is located at 5850 S. Pine Island Road in Davie, Florida. This is a great way to begin the process of creating or joining a team for raising money and awareness for cancer research. You can always sign up for any Relay for Life event by visiting their website at relay for life.org and to RSVP please contact Genie O’Loughlin at genieoloughlin@gmail.com.
