CardioFlex Therapy is joining in with United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida to express your opinion to save the future funding of disability services. We ask that you please follow the link and get involved and let your voice and opinion be heard. CardioFlex would like to share a message from United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida addressing this issue:

Dear All,

We are at a pivotal moment in how policies will move forward those impact organizations such as UCP and the services they provide. The 115th Congress concluded their approval of a budget resolution that sets up the mechanism for Congress to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act and also, through a process called reconciliation, make changes to the Medicaid program. These changes include moving forward with proposals to transform Medicaid to a block grant or per capita cap program.  Republicans, who hold the majority in both Houses of Congress, have indicated their intention to move forward quickly with this plan.
Now is the time we must weigh in and let Congress know that individual lives depend on the HCBS system and that no changes should even be considered until stakeholders see what the proposed changes are. Copy the link below and submit to send a message to your Congressional offices directly.

The Home and Community Based Services UCP provides are critical to those UCP supports and their families and could be greatly impacted by these changes so we wanted to share our concerns for all those we support in South Florida.

We are urging you to please contact your Congressional Representatives. It takes just a few minutes to send this message to your Senators and Representatives on this very important issue.
Our goal is to have as many people as possible reach out to our Senators and Representatives to share this very important message.

Thank you.
Most sincerely,
UCP of South Florida
